Bromberg & Associates: Celebrating 20 Years of Language Access in Metro Detroit and Beyond

“A Toast to the Language Access Champions”

Bromberg & Associates is proud to announce its upcoming 20th Anniversary Celebration event, “A Toast to the Language Access Champions.”

From our humble basement beginnings to our current headquarters in the culturally diverse city of Hamtramck, our goal is and has always been to improve language access and promote cultural awareness throughout communities locally in Metro Detroit and beyond.

To celebrate our company’s history and to honor our clients, who work tirelessly to provide meaningful language access, we will host our 20th Anniversary Celebration, “A Toast to Language Access Champions” on Thursday November 14th at TechTown Detroit. Event activities include a short presentation and discussion, raffles and giveaways, an assorted menu featuring Mexican, Asian, Lebanese, and Ukrainian cuisines, and more!

Support our non-profit partners who enrich our community by participating in our fundraiser

We will be holding a raffle giveaway and a fundraiser to raise money for several non-profit organizations of whom we’ve partnered with over the past 20 years.

These organizations work tirelessly to support diverse humanitarian initiatives and provide resources to make our communities inclusive for all:

Wayne County Safe inspires healing and empowerment for those affected by sexual violence through free and immedite comprehensive services; promotes public awareness; and advances social change.

Global Detroit is a regional economic and community development organization that develops and implements immigrant-inclusive strategies to drive the growth, revitalization and broadly shared prosperity of Detroit and Southeast Michigan. With a focus on global talent retention, entrepreneurship, opportunity neighborhoods, inclusive institutions and research, Global Detroit works to build inclusive economies and vibrant communities.

The Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is a statewide legal resource and advocacy center for Michigan’s immigrant communities. Since its founding ten years ago, MIRC has served as the trusted, statewide community resource and hub for immigration and immigrant-related legal services, advocacy, training, and more for low-income and vulnerable immigrants. MIRC works to build a thriving Michigan where immigrant communities experience equity and belonging.

ProsperUS Detroit is a place-based economic development initiative that builds and sustains neighborhood entrepreneurs and small businesses. Through entrepreneurship training, business support services, and micro-lending, the initiative infuses neighborhoods in Detroit with services and capital that support local entrepreneurs, help stabilize neighborhood economies, and inspire the local community.

Featured Speaker: Bruce Adelson

Bruce Adelson, Bromberg’s active federal compliance consultant and attorney, will present ways we can work together to keep on top of the myriad of challenges facing governments, businesses, and non-profits in today’s world. He will also discuss Bromberg & Associates’ training, language and disability access capabilities while highlighting two recent incidents involving deaf customers at restaurants to emphasize the critical need for ongoing training and oversight. Lastly, Bruce will also provide a preview to our upcoming end of the year roundtable.

We are so grateful for your support of our language and cultural awareness initiatives over the last 20 years. Your commitment to language access will continue to bridge both the linguistic and cultural gaps within our communities.
